Elektropolis is a Berlin-based music and sound design studio led by Alisa Nedashkovska and Ismael Zouaoui. Focused on electronic composition for advertisement, film, performance, and visual media. The studio experiments with new technologies to push the boundaries of modern storytelling. Their work is built on collaboration across sound, light, and movement.
For the production Butterfly, Elektropolis crafted a sonic story that transforms the piano into an immersive, narrative force. By weaving live performance with responsive electronics — utilising the Steinway Spirio to let the digital elements physically play the keys — we created a world of imagination and empathy. The pianist and electronics lead one another in a real-time dialogue, turning a traditional recital into a cohesive, cinematic experience.
