“Butterfly Rise” is a transcendent audio-visual journey, tracing the luminous metamorphosis of a girl as she emerges from innocence into radiant self-empowerment. Drawing inspiration from the butterfly—a timeless emblem of transformation—the performance envelops its audience in shimmering soundscapes, mirror-borne light, and choreographed video, intertwining these elements to evoke the thresholds of becoming.

Through an exquisite interplay of music, light, and moving image, “Butterfly Rise” guides us through the girl’s passage from vulnerability to self-possession. Each chapter unfolds as an immersive, glowing threshold—moments of uncertainty blossoming into strength, each phase a testament to the courage of change and the beauty of emergence.
Premiered at the iconic Cadillac Concert Hall in Shanghai on April 18–19, 2025, as part of the DIGI MUSE MUSIC & TECHNOLOGY Festival, this project invites audiences into a living tapestry of sound and vision. Here, every note and image resonates with the pulse of growth, transformation, and the triumphant ascent into womanhood.
